The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is the state’s largest agency with
a complex array of services for some of the most vulnerable Minnesotans.
Appointed in December 2015, Commissioner Piper will discuss her path to this key
leadership role in state government, share her priorities for the department,
and reflect on the role of administrative law in supporting the agency’s
mission.
