This CLE will provide an overview and history of the
Minnesota laws on human trafficking and describe opportunities for advocacy for
victims. It will provide guidance for working with clients suffering trauma as a
result of being trafficked. The CLE will also address the particular
circumstance of commercial sexual exploitation of children and the Safe Harbor
approach of treating youth who engage in prostitution, not as criminals, but as
victims and survivors to be treated with dignity and respect.
This CLE will be available
