The Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct
provide a roadmap for the ethical obligations for all attorneys. As many
estate planning practitioners know, our practice is ripe for ethical violations
resulting from conflicts. We discuss the nuances of client confidentiality,
multigenerational representation, joint representation, attorneys serving as Trustee, representing businesses and their owners,
and recent cases addressing these issues in the estate planning context.
This CLE will be available
online until May 4, 2018.
