Please join the MSBA Tax and Immigration Sections for a high level discussion of the U.S. federal income tax implications for non U.S. citizen individuals who reside in the U.S. including:
•    U.S. tax residency rules for individuals
•    Foreign bank and financial account reporting requirements (FBAR) – Form FinCEN 114
•    Foreign financial asset reporting requirements (FATCA) – Form 8938
•    Non-U.S. real property implications (owning, renting, and selling)
•    The “Expatriation Tax” per I.R.C. Section 877A

Presenters:

Chris Clark and Brian Higgins of KPMG LLP will lead this discussion. Chris and Brian specialize in international individual tax matters and regularly advise clients regarding the above topics.
