Annual Election:
The section’s
Annual Meeting, which includes officer and council
elections for the 2016-17 bar term, will start at Noon
followed by the CLE presentation from 12:15-1:15 p.m.
CLE Program:
The program will involve a roundtable
discussion of ethical issues in common mediation and arbitration scenarios. Fact
hypotheticals will be presented with the audience participating in discussions
regarding the ethical issues arising in each scenario. The program will be
moderated by experienced mediators Sharifa Elaraj and Roger Kramer. Program
attendees will learn how to identify common ethical issues and determine the
best response on a case by case basis.
Lunch
will be provided. RSVP's and special meal requests need to be received no
later than Thursday, May 5.
