Event Description
Deadline to Register: Tuesday, January 12, 2016
This program will provide an overview of the current climate
driving vertical consolidation in the healthcare space, practical guidance on
how antitrust regulators are likely to review and evaluate such
consolidation, and the underlying economics that motivate market
participants. Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act, market
participants at all levels have been increasingly evaluating the risks and
benefits of consolidation, such as mergers between insurers and providers or
between large hospitals and physician groups. Counsel for market participants should
be cognizant of the current economic and enforcement trends that should
inform and guide these momentous business decisions.
Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by
the program from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Special meal requests need to be
received no later than Tuesday, January 12.
