Deadline to Register: Thursday, October 22,
2015
The Program Operations Manual System is a technical
document used by SSA employees to process claims for Social Security benefits.
However, the savvy practitioner can also use them to effectively persuade
adjudicators and bolster arguments to get awards. This program will highlight
some of the most common and most effective of the POMS, including an overview of each of the POMS
discussed and a situation where it would apply.
At this program, attendees will have the opportunity
to present and discuss POMS that they have
submitted.
Lunch will start at Noon, followed by the CLE program from
12:15-1:15 p.m. Special meal
requests need to be received no later than Thursday, October 22.
