This presentation will address the many benefits and
rewards
of community mediation. It will discuss the value of getting co-mediation experience
in community cases and tips on why and when to use co-mediation
in private practice. It will also discuss becoming comfortable with emotions in
mediation, listening for unspoken interests, and the importance of promoting the
use of conflict resolution skills. A list of volunteer mediation programs
will be
presented.
A brief section business meeting will be
held at Noon followed immediately by the CLE presentation.
Lunch is not provided but please feel free
to bring your own!
