Criminal Issues for Civil, Business, and Family Attorneys

Event Description

Deadline to Register: April 20, 2015

Legal problems for your clients are bad enough without criminal law issues to complicate them. And yet criminal exposure often overlaps with other areas of the law, whether it is an ongoing government investigation, a pending criminal trial at the same time as your litigation, or allegations made against your client by an opposing party threatening to report them. Some problems are obvious, but you may not know what to do about them. If opposing counsel tries to compel the deposition of your client while he has a pending criminal case on the same subjects, what can you do? Others you may not even be aware of. Our panel of experienced attorneys who have dedicated their careers to criminal defense will discuss various criminal issues that overlap practice areas, what to watch out for, and solutions.

Lunch and registration will begin at 12:00 p.m.
The program will begin at 12:15 p.m.
