Clients face unique
legal considerations when they transition from the physical, psychological and
legal gender given to them at birth to their correct gender identity in
adulthood. Attorney Melissa Houghtaling has assisted numerous individuals with
the legal aspects of gender transitioning and works with families experiencing
the unique legal considerations that arise during a transition.
Ms. Houghtaling will:
• Explain the
concept of gender transitioning
• Identify considerations when working
with clients who are or have transitioned their gender
• Offer ways to
assist clients with the legal aspects of transitioning their gender
Lunch and registration will begin at 12:00 p.m.
The program will begin at 12:15 p.m.
