The Administrative Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association is honored to welcome newly-elected Secretary of State Steve Simon who will present his plans for the Office of Secretary of State, election law initiatives that his office will pursue, and other “hot” election law topics that will surely be of interest to members.

The Section is also honored to welcome the Honorable Eric J. Lipman of the Office of Administrative Hearings.  Judge Lipman’s presentation will focus on election law and fair campaign practices cases, with a focus on recent First Amendment cases and evaluating free speech arguments within the context  those cases.

This is a brown-bag seminar. We will provide the coffee and juice; you can bring your breakfast.
