At the end of 2014, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration released the long-awaited, final menu labeling rule that will require restaurants and certain grocers, convenience stores, and retail businesses to list the calories contained in standard menu items, along with other requirements that extend well beyond those in the proposed rules. This CLE will provide an overview of the final menu labeling rule, highlighting changes from the proposed rules and key aspects of the final rule. The presenter will also provide practical tips on how businesses can prepare now for the December 1, 2015 compliance date.

A continental breakfast will be served starting at 8:15 a.m. followed by the CLE program at 8:30 a.m.  Special meal requests need to be received no later than Monday, February 2.
