Applied eDiscovery: Practical Tips

Event Description

Deadline to Register: January 6, 2015

In cases large and small, most evidence is electronic.  The abilities to frame a defensible litigation, and hold or shepherd an effective request for production of electronically stored information, requires practical strategies to streamlet efforts and to minimize costs and time in e-discovery.  This hour-long program will provide an overview of some of the current issues involving e-discovery, and will focus primarily on: (a) rules of procedure and case law relating to e-discovery; (b) legal duties versus negotiated agreements; and (c) practical considerations relating to document preservation and working with electronic documents.

The section membership will meet following the CLE at 5:30.
