On April 29, 2014,
Governor Mark Dayton signed into law the new Minnesota Public Benefit
Corporation Act (HF 2582, Ch. 172). The Act provides for the establishment and
incorporation of general benefit corporations in Minnesota. Such entities
provide a positive impact from their business operations on society, the
environment, and the well-being of present and future generations. Learn about
