Deadline to
Register:
Tuesday, September 16,
2014
This
session will explore the always important, yet sometimes overlapping, roles and
responsibilities of general counsel and compliance officer positions at health
care organizations. It will review
the key challenges that can arise when areas of responsibility, and reporting
obligations, start to blur. For
instance, what issues arise if the same person holds both of these important
positions? What are the
implications if the compliance officer reports to the general counsel? What are the skill sets that are key in
both of these positions? And what
strategies are out there to address overlaps or gaps in responsibilities?
Please
join us for breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program from 8:00
- 9:00 a.m.
Breakfast
will be provided. Special meal
requests need to be received no later than Tuesday, September
16.
