This
past April, the Exempt Organization practitioner community became aware that the
Form 1023 EZ was posted for comment through the Office of Management and Budget
under the Paperwork Reduction Act.
The IRS has said that it expects the form to be available and ready to
file sometime this summer. Join Emily Robertson in reviewing the new form, the
rationale behind it, and the pros and cons on its use.
This
is the third topic of the Business Law Section’s Nonprofit Corporations
Committee brown bag lunch series.
We will meet at the MSBA offices at Noon on Tuesday, June 3. This is a brown-bag lunch. Water and soft drinks will be
