course will begin with an overview in transfer pricing and global intangible
property (IP). We will then discuss
several case studies involving IP, including licensing, cost sharing and
buy-ins. The case studies will highlight recent controversies and tax court
decisions. The course will conclude
with a discussion on how multinationals should do to manage their global IP and
related tax / transfer pricing risks and planning.
