Update: Uniform
Deployed Parents Custody and Visitation Act
On
November 9, 2013, the Family Law Section considered the Uniform Deployed Parents
Custody and Visitation Act. The Section unanimously approved the following
position relative to this legislation:
"The Family Law Section has
concerns about this legislation, and requires further information and more time
to form a position."
In order to obtain answers to the Section’s
concerns, an interactive CLE will be held. Members of the Military and Veterans
Affairs Section will be present to provide answers to questions posed in advance
of the meeting, please come prepared with any extra questions you may
have.
