Out of Order - Protest, Public Meetings, and the First Amendment

Deadline to Register: February 14, 2018

This CLE will examine legal considerations when protesters disrupt public meetings. Panelists will discuss constitutional protections under the First Amendment, application of Minnesota Statutes, and the ramifications of the Minnesota Supreme Court’s recent decision in State v. Hensel. There will also be a discussion of potential “best-practices” moving forward.

*LUNCH WILL BE INCLUDED
