Deadline to Register: January 8,
2018 (by noon)
The Computer and Technology Section Council
will meet at 11:30 AM, follow by lunch and the CLE at noon.
This roundtable will initially
discuss how governmental and judicial data is being parsed and used by
data-analytics and artificial-intelligence firms to provide unprecedented
insights to the public generally — and to lawyers, in particular. That will then
lead to a discussion about potentially expanding access to Minnesota judiciary
data, some possible risks and pitfalls, and the potential benefits that the
public can gain through expanded data analytics.

Damien Riehl and Brad Hammer
