Alternative
methods of billing such as fixed fees make for happy clients and allows you to
clearly communicate a plan for legal services. However, managing a legal project
and accurately estimating legal costs can be difficult and create breakdowns in
the lawyer client relationship if not done properly. This seminar will
help lawyers understand the key elements for accurate legal project management
and the tools for staying on track and providing client communication in your
invoices. The expert panel will show you:
• How
accounting and invoicing tools can help you manage a legal project at the
outset and accurately assess your time and costs.
• The best way to
manage client expectations and lay out the plan for legal
services.
• How to breakdown projects into real tasks, define the
milestones of each project, and calculate a matter budget accurately.
• A live software demonstration with sample legal matters will show
you in real time how legal projects are planned and legal budgets are
accurately assessed.
