Immigration 101: Introduction to Immigration Basics

Event Description

This CLE is designed to provide a bird's eye view of the major areas of immigration, employment, family and asylum/removal for the new or new to immigration lawyer. Many non-immigration lawyers have to deal with immigration-related questions in their clients’ cases. If you’ve talked to an immigration attorney and been lost in a sea of acronyms, terms of art, and form numbers, you should consider attending this CLE. This is a CLE for new lawyers who may be considering an immigration practice, lawyers who aren't currently focused on immigration but would like to gain some understanding of the subject, and anyone else who may benefit from learning more about immigration. Our three panelists are experienced immigration attorneys who will go through some of the basics of family based immigration, employment based immigration and asylum and removal cases before the immigration court.
