The Rules of the Game Have Changed: How the New Civil Procedure Rules Impact Construction Law Cases

On July 1, 2013, significant changes in the Minnesota Rules of Civil Procedure became effective.  The three main amendments concerned commencement of actions, discovery rules, and the Complex Case Program.  The changes will be discussed, particularly as they relate to construction law matters.  A judicial perspective on the changes and construction cases in general will also be shared.
