Bankruptcy Section Annual Meeting and Judge Kishel's
Retirement Reception

registrations at the door for this special event.
Judge Kishel will give us his parting thoughts as he
prepares to leave the bench. His time on the bench and his remarks will cover a
multitude of important events in the history of the institution. From the early
80's as part of the group of "Legacy Judges" who were adapting to jurisdictional
changes to the court; to becoming the first electronic court in Minnesota;
implementing changes from BAPCPA; and presiding over the largest Ponzi scheme in
Minnesota history, Judge Kishel's time on the bench has covered a number of
significant events. Judge Kishel's remarks are sure to entertain and educate, in
true testament to his 32 years of service.
A reception honoring Judge
Kishel as he retires from the bench will follow.
