How to Handle Your First (or Fifth) Appeal

Handling your first (or fifth) appeal?  Come learn the basics, such as should you file, when do you file, and how do you file.  In addition to how-to basics, Judge Randolph Peterson of the Minnesota Court of Appeals will provide insight on what’s persuasive, both in briefing and oral argument.  You’ll also receive information on e-filing, which is optional for now, but will be mandatory eventually.

The New Lawyers Section Annual Meeting will follow the CLE at 5:30 pm.

Council nominations and elections will take place. All New Lawyers Section members welcome to attend.
