Attendees
will come away with an understanding of some of the historical and societal
factors affecting police-community relations, as well as community mediation’s
past and potential role in bridging differences and creating
understanding.
Topic will include community policing and
restorative justice as well as a discussion of what
Section members would like to see in future CLEs on this
subject.
A brief section business meeting will be
held at Noon followed immediately by the CLE presentation from 12:15-1:15
p.m.
Lunch is not provided but please feel free to bring your own! Soft drinks and bottled
water will be provided.
